Closing Date & Bargins

Hi all,

I am popping on today to confirm to you that the offical Closing Date for the shop is Saturday 8th October.

So just 2 weeks left to go, but there are still some great bargins to be had.

All wool has now been reduced to just £1 per ball,

All Knitting Patterns are just £1 each,

We have mixed bags of buttons from £1 per bag,

Anchor Embroidery Threads are just 30p each,

All Stampavie, Wild Rose Studio, Sugar Nellie & Ladybug Crafts Ink single stamps are just £2 each,

Peel Off Stickers are just 25p each,

All Craft & Haberdashery items have at least 50% off marked prices,

So do pop down and grab yourself some bargins while you can.

Dont forget I also have some fixtures and fittings for sale too - pop in and have a look if you are interested. I have spinners, shelving, baskets, wall grids with hooks etc.

This will be the last post on here from me, so I would like to take the time to say a big thank you to all those who have supported me over the last 2 years. It has been a journey and at times a very hard one, but one I that I dont regret at all especially due to all the new friends I have made.

On a good note I am going to keep the Sketch & Tutorial Blogs going (well get them upto date first and then keep them going lol!!). If you pop over to them you may see that they now look slightly different, as I have now joined them to my personal blog as obviously this one will now cease to exsist.

I have 2 12" x 12" paper stands, 24 slats in each £25 each

1 metal floor spinner about 6' high, 4 sided each side has 8 A4 pockets (great for decoupage sheets) £50

1 metal floor spinner about 6' high, 4 mesh sides with suitable hooks £50

1 metal floor spinner suitable for holding peel offs, about 7' high, 4 sides each side holding 24 (I think) lots of peel offs £50

Wooden shelving with pigeon holes for wool storage - offers accepted

Glass shelving, 16 compartments easy to assemble and disassemble. ( I curently hold wool in it and get 7 rows high of 6 balls in each compartment with space behind the rows to put extra stock) very big unit but can be assembled to as many compartments as you like - offers accepted

Wall slatting with euro hooks (grids are fixed to wall using screws- very easy to put up) have lots of these - offers accepted

Wooden shelving unit suitable for holding wooden stamps £10

Closing Down

Dear All,

It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that LORA Crafts will soon be closing. After a very difficult 6 months I have had to come to the decision to close the doors. This decision has not been taken lightly and has caused both myself and my family a lot of heartache. I took a huge chance on this business 2 years ago and unfortunately it has not worked out for me, whether this is due to local competition or just the general downturn in the economy I dont know.

I have given my notice on my lease and will close in 2 months, or sooner (if I have no stock left lol)

So this can mean only one thing, as from first thing tomorrow I will be starting our closing down sale and everything (and I mean everything) in store will be at least 50% off. I will also be selling off any fixtures and fittings that may be of interest to anyone. So do pop in and grab yourself a bargin.

This just leaves me to say that I have truely valued all your custom and friendship over the last 2 years (4 including the time I just worked there before I took it over) and I am sure I have made some friends for life.

Tulip Collection

Hi all,

Sorry its been a while, things have been manic here and there has not been enough hours in the day, plus we had a child with chicken pox thrown in the mix too !!!

Anyway I finally have a couple of samples for you today made with the fabulous Tulip Collection available in store.

There is a fabulous range of stamps, decoupage, toppers, card blanks and 3D embellishments with items starting from as little as £1.

For the cards I have used one of the topper packs and teamed it with some fabulous papermania capsule collection papers. The border has been punched with one of the new X-Cut border punches and the flowers are from colour your own from Papermania. A few Papermania gems finish off the cards perfectly.

Creative Cardmaking Magazine Issue 29 is in store now. This months free papers are from Hunkdory and they are fabulous - there is even 4 sheets of Toppers to go with them as well.

On page 51 you will also see a card made by little old me!!!!!!. A few months ago I was contacted by Laura and asked to make 3 cards for them showing how to get creative with double sided papers.

This is the card they picked, Im not sure what happens to the other 2 but I have piccy's somewhere I will show when I can find them.

Hi all,

Back today with another couple of samples from Demo Day. I have a very simple but effective card and a little gift bag again still on the floral theme.

The flowers on this card have been made using 4 different size circles, spritzing with glimmer spray and scrunching up before being layered together with a brad.

MYO Background/Flowers

Hi all,

Today I would like to show you a couple of cards made by creating your own background and flowers.

The flowers on this set have been made using an X-Cut Leaf Quilling die. 7 of each size leaf have been cut out and placed together to form a flower.

For this card and box, a background stamp from the V&A collection has been stamped onto cardstock to create a pretty background. Finshed off by stampingand cutting a flower from the same set.

Floral Heaven

Hi all,

Back today as promised with some of the fabulous floral card creations made by the lovely Diane for Demo Day.

Diane has used the gorgoeus papers and clear stamp set from Henbury Lane by Papermania.

As you can see Diane also created little a gift box/bag to go with her card, She has stamped the images using a Grey Memento Ink pad and then coloured in Pro-Markers.

Demo Day Samples & Charity Raffle

Hi All,

So I thought I would pop on and give you some pics of some of the samples that were made for demo day. The theme for the day was Summer Blooms and we had some fantastic 3D creations and cards featuring floral themes and MYO (make your own) flowers. Once again I had help making the samples from my friend Diane and they seemed to go down really well on the day.
For the first time during a demo day we also held little make and takes with the MYO flowers and these seemed appreciated by all.

Today I will show you some of the 3D creations made by myself and if you pop back tomorrow you will see some of the fantastic floral cards made by Diane.

A little flower bouqet made using a paper folding technique to create 5 little petals which are then attached together to create a flower.

A simple picutre frame cover in pretty floral paper, with Quilled flowers made using the X-Cut Qulling Dies.

A cute little watering can, stuffed full of quilled flowers made using the X-Cut Quilling Dies

A6 presentation box, featuring MYO carnation flowers using 8 scalloped circles crinkled and layered together.

A stunning flower arrangement made using pleated & quilled flowers.

I would also like to say a big thank you to those that purchased cupcakes and raffle tickets during CF week and on Demo Day for the CF Trust. Through the cake and ticket sales we manged to raise £180.00 including a very generous donation from a special lady and her daughter. I have also empited the chairty box this week and found a massive £300 in there so well done everyone and thanks for you generosity. Abbies school friends also held a cake sale during CF week and they manged to raise about £200 as well.

All raffle prizes have been claimed but I will just tell you the winning ticket numbers were ..............................................

Demo Day & CF Week

Thought I would pop on today to let you know we will be having a Demo Day here on :-

Saturday 21st May

The theme is Summer Blooms, so expect to see lots of fabulous floral creations, not only using the pre made paper roses and flowers but also making your own with Dies and Punches.

The demo will be from 10am - 4pm, however the shop will be open normal hours.

Also next week 9th - 15th May is National CF Week They have a theme this year of THE BIG BAKE. Across the country people will be holding Cake Sales to raise money for charity. Here at Lora Crafts we will be selling homemade cakes everyday to support this cause. Please do pop in a purchase a couple of treats from us during next week, help us raise money for this fabulous cause.

We will also be holding a Raffle all month with some fabulous Crafty Goodies on offer for the lucky winner, at only 50p per ticket its worth a try. Also for every purchase over £10 on the Demo Day you will get yourself a free raffle ticket.

Good Guys

Hi All,

As promised I am back today with some samples made using the Good Guys from the Kanban Tiny Hero's Toppers.

Like I said before these toppers are so easy to use and have such fun and funky designs on them.

For this card, I have actually Die Cut a circle out of the front. Then using 2 toppers have matted them back to back with invisable thread in the middle. When standing up the centre will spin round.

Just some simple Matting a Layering on this card, however the twil I have used is white and I have just coloured it with a blue Pro-Marker

This card features a removable Book Mark. I have created a little pocket at the bottom to slide the book mark in and popped a teeny tiny piece of foam tape on the back of the book mark just to hold it in place.

We have Good Girls, Good Guys & Bad Guys, they are all die cut for ease of use with lovely holigraphic foiled edges. They are also such good value with loads on a sheet for a special price of £1.05 (RRP £1.65)

New Sirdar Yarn

Well today I have something completely different for you, as you know only half of my shop is craft the other half is wool.

So without being distriminative it is only fair (to the wool) that I preview on here any new yarns, patterns new colours etc that I will be stocking.

So today I would like to show you a new Yarn that has just come into stock from Sidar called Simply Re-Cycled

Specification

Sirdar Simply Recycled Dk is a blend of 51% recycled cotton and 49% pure new acrylic. The cotton fibre comes from t-shirt production and it is blended with cotton to make a beautifully soft yarn.

This is a standard double knitting yarn and will knit to all Sirdar double knitting leaflets. Simply Recycled Dk is machine washable on a gentle cycle.

Blend: 51% Recycled Cotton, 49% Acrylic

Ball weight:     50g
Needle size : 4mm
Yardage :       130m, 142y

Recessed Window Card

Today I am showing you a fabulous card made using the Country Companions Range from Do-Crafts. One of the things I have been asked regarding these items is how to use the pre-printed images on the backing papers.

So I have made a Recessed Window card, this card actually looks like a picture frame when made up and is the prefect way to showcase the images.

Paper Samples

Hi All,

Thought I would show you samples today made using the new 12x12 papers. Sorry they are a couple of days late but got exctited about the new products and wanted to show you those.

Ok, so the first thing you will notice today is no stamped images !!!!!, what I have done is created samples to show you that you can create beautiful cards using just papers and a few embellishments. Its also a great way to show off the fabulous papers too.

Hello - the flower on this card was made by cutting 3 different size circles out of of the papers, inking the edges and crumpling up. It was then fixed togther with a plain brad and a flower embellishment glued to the top.

Three different papers have been used here, and the border was created by cutting a 3cm x 30cm strip and pleating before being stuck down.

Alphabet stickers and gems were used as finishing touches.

Have a wonderful Day- The flower on this card was made the same way as the Hello card, although this time a layer of Tulle was added onto the back.

Four pieces of paper were cut to about 4cm x 6" wide and punched along the bottom with a border punch, they were then pleated at the top and stuck down along the top edges only.

The border was made by stiching a 12" piece of of ribbon and Tulle together and ruffling up before being stuck onto the card.

A stamped sentiment and gems were used to finish the card off.

Best Wishes - For this card I have used just 2 pieces of paper, the first cut into a 14 x 14cm sq and then 4 x 4.5cm squares from the other piece. All edges of the paper have been distressed using a distressing tool.

I have used metallic thread to create stitches on two sides of each square, and a fabric butterfly used in the top LH corner.

Small flower embellishments, gems and a stamped sentiment finish off the card.

Just for you - The flower on this card was made using 3 different size of flower shaped nesties and created as the above flowers. Two leaf shapes were cut out of card and viens were scored and embossed using an embossing tool.

A piece of card was border punched along the bottom edge and a single piece of paper attached. Gorgeous dotty organza ribbon was wrapped around the piece and tied before being stuck onto the card blank.

A simple sentiment was stamped and matted before being added in the LH corner, and the flower attached with silicone glue.

Many Thanks - Nine circles were die cut out of different papers and arranged on a 11cm x 11cm square of card. These were then matted onto 2 different pieces of coloured textured card.

Beautiful organza ribbon was tied around the square before being matted onto the card blank using foam tape.

A flower embellishment and a simple sentiment in the bottom RH circle finish off the card.

Get Well Soon - Three shapes were die cut out of papers and matted onto a piece of coloured card with distressed edges.

Ribbon has been tied round the card, and two heart embellishments have been used for decoration.

A simple stamped sentiment finishes off the card.

Demo Day & Charity Raffle

Its our 1st Birthday this month, yes on the 24th September with have offically been open a year.

To celebrate this on Saturday 25th September we will be holding a Birthday Bash Demo Day.

Also I would like to say a big thanks to all who brought raffle tickets for the Charity Summer Raffle. All prize winners have been notified and most prizes have now been collected, everyone seemed very happy with their prizes.

A Big!!!!! thank you goes out to all my suppliers who sponsered the raffle, the prizes were fabulous.

When I empited the charity box out, the total raised was £326, this also included money from items sold from the charity basket & demo and class sample cards sold too.

Well done to all our winners, keep your eye out for a Christmas Raffle in December. My aim was to raise £1000 this year and so far we are only just over £600 so a little way to go yet but we will keep plugging on. Items are constantly being added to the basket and new sample cards go for sale each week so keep popping in and having a nosey.

Just thought i would wet your appetite for the Raffle by confirming a couple of the prizes I received in the post this morning.

Firstly the very generous Kerry at Ladybug Crafts Ink has sent me the whole Nikki stamp collection(thats 22 stamps) worth £143 RRP.

Letraset have sent a selection of Pro-Markers and Aqua Markers worth over £30.

Today i have also recived an email from Craftwork Cards, who have promised to send me a little something.

So all in all it looks like we are going to have some fabulous prizes to give away in the raffle.

LORA Crafts Charity Raffle

Hi All,

Just thought I would give you an update with some fundraising. As you all know I have a CF Trust Charity Box in the shop and many of you pop your odds bits of change in there and also buy items from my Charity Basket.

Well firstly I would like to say thank you to all those who send me their no longer wanted craft items to sell, and to all of you who actually pop the money in the box for the stuff. Your kindness is as always very much appreciated.

So I thought you may like to know that the box has been emptied again and I have sent off another cheque to the CF Trust for £97, that now makes £300 in total.

Now its been a while since I did the christmas raffle, so I thought I would do a summer Raffle. This time however I have asked my suppliers to sponser some of the prizes. I can confirm that so far the following companies have agreed to send me a prize.

1. Ladybug Crafts Ink
2. Penny Black
3. Letraset
4. Red Hot Bed.

(I will add to this list as they come).

Now because of the amount of Prizes on offer this time I am going to do separate draws for each prize on a 1st, 2nd 3rd basis. I dont know how many prizes there will be yet, but I think its going to be a good one. The tickets will be on sale throughout the 6 weeks school holidays, with the winning tickets being drawn on Saturday 4th September.

Just to give you an idea of the prizes on offer - The Red Hot Bed prize is a crafting kit worth £40.

Hope you will all give me your support again, and raise some more money for this wonderful charity.

Flower Spacers

Hi all,

No samples from me today im afraid, although I still have quite a few to show you I havent taken pictures of them yet.

So I thought I would show you these fabulous spacers I have just ordered in, they are coming from China so could take a week or so but they are worth the wait.

If you dont know what a spacer is, they are the gorgeous decorative metal flowers that go in between your brad and paper flowers. They really set off the brad and make your flowers look fabulous.

Prices will be £1.25 per bag with between 10 -40 spacers in each bag depending on size & weight.

Hi All,

Well am back today to show you my second lot of samples, these are from the Patchwork Kingdom range.

We have a fantastic range of Decoupage, Make a Card & Tag packs.

The Decoupage packs consist of 2 sheets of decoupage with 2 designs on each sheet & 2 A4 co-ordinating backing papers for just £3.99. The make a card packs consist of 2 pre printed A6 card blanks & envelopes + all the toppers, tags, sentiments & extras that you need to decorate them for just £2.59.

All the packs are themed and come in either Girl, Boy or Anniversary.

For my samples today I have used the Girl Birthday decoupage pack & the Boy Birthday make a card pack.

Random waffle & Samples

Hi Ladies, have you missed me?

I would firstly like to appoligise to you all for neglecting the blog of late, but as many of you know I am still recovering from my op. If you didnt know I have been in hospital after suffering an appendicitis and Kidney Infection, had a lovely (not!!) little operation and have spent the last couple of weeks recovering. I hope to be back in the shop from 3rd May, but have a scan this Thurs coming so will know more once I have those results..

So with all the fuss and palarva I missed out on posting the 2nd sketch challenge, I will now post the 2nd sketch up on 1st May as I know quite a few of you enjoyed taking part. Firstly though I had better announce the winner from sketch 1, now to make it fair is all I have done is placed every one's name in a hat (so to speak) and the name drawn out as the winner was ........... Christine, so if you would like to pop into the shop and see Lynn, you may choose yourself a Sugar Nellie stamp of your choice. Well Done Christine and thanks to every one who took part in the fun.

No then its been ages since I popped some sample cards up on here, and just before I went off ill we had some gorgeous Decoupage & Card Kits from Crafthouse Press. I have been a busy bee this last week and have made quite a few samples, some very quick & easy and some a bit more involved, but all fabulous. Every day this week I am going to be putting the samples on the blog to give you a bit of inpsiration.

So............. meet Dandelion !!!! this adorable range of Decoupage & Pyramid are so cute and fabulous. All Die Cut and very easy to use. The free gift this mag is a fabulous CD rom full of papers, alphabet sheets, icons, borders, templates and project sheets.

May issue of Creative Cards should also be in stock from Tue this week, along with a special bumper Summer edition which I have had a sneeky copy of and its fabulous, lots of gorgeous free papers.

Meet Ruby & CF Trust Thank You !!

Just a quick post, I am in the process of taking pictures of all the Demo cards from saturday. Being as I havent posted on here for quite a while I thought I would quickly pop this on to keep you going for a few days till I get the pics uploaded.

This quick and simple card has been made using one the new Ladybug Crafts Ink stamps from the Ruby range.

The card is a tent fold aperture card, with the aperture cut out using a Big Shot and Nesties. Ruby has been coloured using promakers and is hanging with the use of some invisable thread( she does hang straight although doesnt seem to want to for her picture !!). The papers are Papermania Rose Garden, Craftwork Cards oval sentiments & Papermania Adhesive Shimmer Dots.

** All items used on this card can be purchased in store.

I will post a tutorial on here as soon as I can, but if any of you have made one of these tent cards, using the instructions you picked up on Demo Day let me know I would love to see it.

I would also like to say a big THANK YOU !!!! for all those who have not only been purchasing items out of the basket for the charity box, but also those who donated items too. Also not forgetting those of you who so often pop your change into the box before you leave.
I emptied the tin out last weekend and was able to send a cheque off for £203.00. I have received a thank you letter off them today and have popped it up in the shop for all to see. So once again thank you soooooooo much for your generosity.

Just Chillin / Monthly Sketch Challenge

How do you fancy a monthly sketch challenge here at Lora Crafts. On the 1st of each month I will give you a sketch to follow and you make a card using items that you MUST!!!! have purchased at the shop. For every person who shows me their card either by

1 :- popping it into the shop

2 :- sending me piccy by email

3 :- through a link to your blog

I will pop you in a draw for a little prize.

Here is some inspiration with a fabulous sample card made by the lovely Fern, using one the new Wild Rose Studio Stamps called Party Girl.

Dont you just wish you were the glamorous lady chillin with a nice glass of wine. I love the fresh pastel colours Fern has used and has teamed the image with the fabulous papers from the We R Memory Keepers Tiffany Pad. Fern has also used her fave MS Punch!!

And a card from me, I have rotated the sketch round to fit my image better. I have also used a new Wild Rose Studio Stamp called Night Out, how fab does she look!!!. I have teamed her with Wild Rose Studio papers and added a couple of Petaloo Flowers. I have also popped all the layers up with foam tape for added dimension.

NEC Preview Day 2

Did you guess what todays preview is?, I did say think Gorjuss !!!!!

Well you cant get anymore Gorjuss than this fabulous range of Gorjuss Girls Decoupage I have managed to pick up.

The designs are simply stunning and are all Die Cut for ease of use. There are a couple of straight forward Decoupage packs, some fabulous Tags & Toppers and some simply stunning 3D Box Cards.

How Gorjuss!!!! are these, I fell in love as soon as I saw them and knew they would love a place in my shop.

NEC Previews

Hi Ladies,

As you all know I was at the trade show at the NEC on Sunday, I have to tell you I have found some fabulous items for you. Each day this week I will give you a preview of the new items.

Starting today with a fabulous new stamp range. I spotted these designs in one of my trade publications a few weeks ago and I am so excitied to be able to offer you this range (you all know how I am about my stamps). The company is called Ladybug Crafts Ink and they have 2 gorgeous ranges of stamps and sentiments to match. It is a new company set up by the lovely Kerry (who I met at the stand) you can see her blog HERE.

The first range is the gorgeously sophisticated, girl about town Nikki

The stamps I have ordered in are :- Chatty Nikki, Expecting Nikki, Shopping Nikki, Handbag Nikki, Martini Nikki, Original Nikki, Winestool Nikki & Bathtub Nikki.

The second range is the sweet and very girly fairy called Ruby.

CF Trust Charity Craft Sale

As many of you know, my daughter Abigail has Cystic Fibrosis and as a family we do various things throughout the year to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust Charity. Since I took over the shop I have had a small basket of items for sale with all the money going to the CF Trust.

I am having a massive sort out of all my craft items over this weekend and as of Monday will be putting the items up for sale in the shop. As always all the money raised from the sale of these items will go straight to the Trust.

So far there is a selection of Wooden & Clear Stamp sets, Paper Flowers, Die Cuts, Papers, Chipboard Shapes, Gems etc and I will be adding more as I go. (many of these items are just 50p)

* (Obviously most of these items are 2nd hand, but are in very good condition) *

So please if you pop into the shop over the next few days, have a peek at the items and grab yourself some bargins for a good cause.

I have also just realised that I never thanked you all for taking part in the Christmas Raffle in aid of the CF Trust. The tickets were sold at 50p each and you raised £33, which I then doubled (as I promised I would) so a Cheque for £66 was sent to the CF Trust. So many many thanks!!!! to all of you who brought a ticket.

Window Treat Box

Hi Ladies,

Remember the christmas treat box we did in class, here is the tutorial easter style.

1 & 1/2 square Card Blanks (I have used Craft Creations 144mm x144mm sq card blanks)
Coloured Cardstock
Patterned Paper
Acetate
Decoupage Image
Nesties

Step 1, On the back of the cardstock score and cut the lines as per the instructions below.

You should end up with this.

Step 2, As per the instrutions pic (above) cut & score the Box lid & Joining Strip.

Slit the corners to create tabs, fold inwards and stick on the inside to create a lid.

Step 3, Trim the patterned paper into 4 9cm x 7cm pieces.

Step 4, Attach the pieces to the scored panels on the front side of the cardblank.

Step 5, Using a small oval nestie & Big Shot Machine, die cut a hole in either of the 2 middle panels.

Step 6, Using the Big Shot & Nesties, die cut an oval frame & 2 scalloped squares (slightly bigger than your lid) from coloured cardstock.

Step 7, Attach the die cut frame to the front of the window.

Step 8, Trim a piece of Acetate to about 9cm x 7cm and attach onto the back of the cardblank covering the hole.

Step 9, Attach the joining strip (score facing outwards) onto the last panel on the back of the card blank. Fold the strip back on itself , bring the cardblank over and join up to create your box.

Step 10, Fold and stick the bottom flaps together (to create a box) and stick onto one of the scalloped squares. Add your decoupage image at this point too!!.

Step 11, Attach your box lid to the remaining scalloped square of coloured cardstock.

Step 12, The lid should then slot into your box, with the scalloped square preventing it from falling in.

Finshed Item !!!!!!

Side Stepper Tutorial

Hi Ladies,

Here as promised is the tutorial for the Side Stepper Card.

1 A5 Card Blank
patterned Paper
Coloured Cardstock (for matting a layering)
Image and colouring medium
Border Punches
Embellishments.

Step 1- Stamp your image, colour and mat onto coloured cardstock.

Step 2 - On the back of your A5 cardblank, score & cut the lines as shown on the diagram below

Step 3 - Mountain & Valley fold your card as shown on the diagram. (note you are only going to crease on the LH side of your cut line).
On the RH side of the cut line crease the card at the 15cm score line only.

Your card should look like this when stood up.

Step 4 - Trim coloured cardstcock to fit the panels on your card. For this card I have used the following measurements.
1 @ 14.5cm x 9 cm
1 @ 10.5cm x 7cm
1 @ 10.5cm x 4cm
1 @ 10.5cm x 2.5cm

Step 5 - Trim patterned paper to fit the cardstock panels showing a small border all the way round. I have used the following measurements.
1 @ 14cm x 8.5cm
1 @ 10cm x 6.5cm
1 @ 10cm x 3.5cm
1 @ 10cm x 2cm

Attach the patterned paper to the panels as shown.

Step 6 - Decorate the smaller panels as required and attach to the cardblank as shown.

Step 7 - Attach the image to the cardblank slightly overlapping the RH edge. Add extra embellishments as required.

Valentines Forever Friends Style

Hi everyone, hope you all had a fab christmas with lots of crafty goodies from Santa. We are now a few days into 2010 , so I know all you cardmakers will be looking for some new fresh items & ideas.

We have just received the delivery of the Valentines collections from Do-Crafts and the new Jan deal should be in store by the end of the week.

Easel Card Tutorial

Hi Ladies,

Here as promised is the tutorial for last weeks Easel Card.

Recipe :- 1 & 1/2 14.5cm x 14.5cm Sq Card Blanks

3 x 6x6 cardstock

2 x 6x6 patterned paper

Image & Colouring medium

Border Punch

Sentiment & Card Candy or Brads

Step 1 - Score a vertical line down the middle of the RH side of your card blank

Step 2 - Fold this crease and the prescored crease back on themselves (see pic)

Step 3 - Attach the 1/2 card blank onto the creased section of the full card blank (see pic)

Step 4 - Trim the 2 cardstock pieces to 14cm sq & the 2 patterned papers to 13.5cm sq

Step 5- Colour your image and Die Cut out. Die Cut a scalloped oval out of the middle of one of the pieces of cardstock

Step 6 - Mat the image onto the scalloped oval & the patterned papers onto the cardstock pieces.

Step 7 - Punch a patterned border along opposite edges of the 3rd piece of cardstock.

Step 8 - Trim off to make 2 borders.

Step 9 - Mat the 2 borders and the image onto the front of the matted papers.

Step 10 - Attach the 2 cardstock pieces onto the card blank as shown above and finish with a sentiment & cardcandy.
